Extremadura landscapes change significantly throughout the seasons and your impressions of a place may vary, depending on which time of the year you visit. The first time I went to Alange was in spring 2016. I went back a few days ago in late summer and the landscape colours were completely different.
In this article, I share a selection of pictures I recently took during my walk up to Alange castle. For more information about this small town of Badajoz province and to see pictures taken in spring, read my article ‘Extremadura castles: views from castillo de Alange.’
